Looking for Childcare in Park Village? Meet Yinjuan Family Daycare

Finding childcare is one of those decisions that goes far beyond convenience. You want your child to be safe and well cared for, but you also want a place where they can play, explore, learn, eat well, and feel at home.

We recently learned about the newly opened Yinjuan Family Daycare, a home-based daycare right here in Park Village in Rancho Peñasquitos, and thought it was a neighborhood resource worth sharing.

Yinjuan Family Daycare welcomes children ages 0–5 and can accommodate up to 12 children with two teachers. They are currently caring for four children, which means there are presently eight openings for families looking for childcare.

One of the things that really stands out is their collection of more than 2,000 Chinese and English picture books. Reading is part of the children’s everyday experience, giving them plenty of exposure to both languages and the opportunity to develop their Chinese naturally through books, stories, and conversation.

Then there’s the backyard. It’s not your typical little daycare play area. It’s large, shaded, and set up for children to spend plenty of time outside, whether they’re playing, moving, exploring, or learning. We love the idea of kids having room to be kids rather than spending most of their day indoors.

Meals are another thoughtful part of the program. Lunch and two snacks each day- one in the morning and another in the afternoon are included at no additional charge. The meals are prepared with an emphasis on wholesome ingredients, which the owner says are primarily organic and largely purchased from Costco.

Their learning environment combines elements of Montessori and thematic teaching, along with books, outdoor experiences, and plenty of opportunities for natural learning throughout the day.

For parents who prefer a smaller neighborhood setting and value bilingual language exposure, lots of reading, outdoor play, and home-cooked meals, Yinjuan Family Daycare may be worth a visit.
