Park Village is as good as it gets in San Diego. An enclave that felt like home to us the first time we’d driven the on (street name), past (local shop/eatery that’s been there a while), the sun’s friendly rays slanting warmly through the windshield, the air through the open windows warm and fresh, smelling like oysters and summer. Maybe in part it was because we’d spent so many years in Colorado, deprived of this kind of warmth and the ocean breezes. But we fell instantly, incurable in love, and for good reason.
After all these years, it’s still home in all the ways that matter. For those of you not familiar with Park Village – (a very brief nifty description of the place would be good. When/how it was developed, what makes it cool/unique, special, what sorts of houses can be had (styles et al).
